How Does RADIESSE Work?

RADIESSE relies on an ingredient called calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) that works in 2 ways. Immediately after injection, patients will observe an improvement in the appearance of their targeted areas. Over the next several months, the CaHA stimulates the body’s own collagen production process, improving the look and feel of the targeted skin. The CaHA will eventually be metabolized by the body, a harmless process that leaves behind only your natural collagen. While experiences vary, visible results can last for up to 1 year, and most patients are satisfied with their results after a single treatment.

RADIESSE is currently the only FDA-approved dermal filler that immediately restores lost volume and stimulates collagen production. Our RADIESSE patients report high levels of satisfaction with both the injection experience and their ultimate results.

RADIESSE has been approved to be mixed with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, in order to maximize patient comfort during the injection.

What Does RADIESSE Treat?
